2012 Nuremberg Toy Fair

With a venue space of 160,000 square meters, which is greater than the size of three Tokyo Domes, and more than 70,000 new product announcements, the sheer scale of the Nuremberg Toy Fair boggles the mind. This annual event is in its 62nd year and is once again held in the German city of Nuremberg from February 1st-6th. Approximately 2,700 hobby, toy, and crafts manufacturers from 63 countries are displaying a wide variety of products, which range from plastic models, R/C models, and miniature cars to train models, stuffed animals, and handicraft items. Furthermore, the fair will also be hosting industry forums and special themed exhibits, making it a must-see event for the 79,000 visitors from 114 countries around the world who want to know what the industry's trends will be for this year. Tamiya has been at this prestigious event since 1968, and this year marks our 45th consecutive year as an exhibitor. Needless to say, many highly-anticipated new item announcements will be revealed to the public at the Tamiya booth.
